Forge Protocol LLC ("Forge Protocol," "we," "our," or "us") operates forgeprotocol.ai and provides the Forge Protocol career coaching platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Name and email address (provided at registration or via Google OAuth)
• Military branch, service history, and career information you voluntarily submit
• Target role, target industry, and career track preferences

Payment Information

• Payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details on our servers
• We retain transaction records including amount, date, and plan purchased

Usage Data

• Session generation history and document outputs
• Feature usage patterns and interaction data
• Device type, browser, and IP address
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

Career Content

• Resume content, work history, and skills you submit
• Documents generated by the AI including resumes, cover letters, and interview prep materials

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Generate AI-powered career documents using the information you submit
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, receipts)
• Respond to support requests
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your personal information for advertising or sell it to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. AI Processing and Anthropic

The Service uses Anthropic's Claude AI models to generate career content. When you submit career information and request document generation:

• Your submitted content is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing
• Anthropic processes your content to generate the requested output
• We do not use your content to train AI models
• Anthropic's data processing is governed by Anthropic's own privacy practices and our data processing agreement with Anthropic

We recommend you do not include sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or medical information in content submitted for AI processing.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following third-party processors who assist in operating the Service:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription management
• Anthropic, PBC — AI model processing for document generation
• Supabase, Inc. — database hosting and authentication infrastructure
• Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery
• Lovable Technology — application hosting and infrastructure

Each provider is bound by data processing agreements and is required to protect your information in accordance with applicable law.

5. Veteran and Military Information

You may voluntarily provide information about your military service, veteran status, disability status, or eligibility for veteran hiring preferences (such as Schedule A or Veterans' Preference). This information is:

• Used solely to generate tailored career documents relevant to federal and civilian employment
• Not shared with employers, government agencies, or any third party for purposes other than Service delivery
• Not used to make automated decisions about your eligibility for any program

Provision of this information is entirely voluntary.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Maintain your login session
• Remember your preferences
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service

You may control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling certain cookies may affect Service functionality. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and generated documents while your account is active. If you delete your account:

• Personal profile information is deleted within 30 days
• Session and document data is deleted within 90 days
• Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax law
• Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format
• Objection: Object to certain processing activities

9. California Residents (CCPA)

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at james@forgeprotocol.ai if you believe we have inadvertently collected such information.

12. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
